RailTokyo2015 was held at Tsudanuma Campus, Chiba Institute of Technology .

Tsudanuma Campus is located just in front of the south exit of Tsudanuma Station on (Yokosuka Line) Sobu Line [Rapid Service] and Chuo Line Sobu Line [Local Train] operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). You can arrive at the station by train from Narita International Airport in about one hour. From Tokyo Station or Akihabara Station, you can arrive there in about half an hour by train. It takes about half an hour from Haneda Airport to Tokyo Station or Akihabara Station by monorail and train.

Railway Tickets

Suica , a prepaid e-money card for moving around (and also shopping), is very useful to move between Narita/Haneda Airport and Tsudanuma Station by train (including monorail and subway). If you stay at Tsudanuma during the conference days and nights, around 2,000 JPY (excluding the transportation from/to the site of the technical visits and the conference dinner) will suffice. If you stay at a hotel near Tokyo Station, additional 1,000 * (number of nights) JPY will be required. The following services are very useful to find a train route and its fare:

For sightseeing in Tokyo or other areas in Japan, train operators offer several special tickets. Please note that Tsudanuma Station is not in the designated open seating zone for Tokyo Metro Open Tickets/Tokyo Subway Ticket offered by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway, or Tokyo Metropolitan District Pass/Tokyo Tour Ticket (they are not listed below) offered by JR East.
